A vintage field-guide plate of six forest mushrooms, drawn in fine ink linework with hand-shaded detail: fly agaric, chanterelle, morel, king bolete, shaggy mane and turkey tail, each labeled with its common and Latin name. Framed like a page torn from an old naturalist's notebook, with a reminder at the bottom: look closely, tread lightly, know before you pick. Best on light colors, where every gill and spot shows.
